But, we also love Mountain Goats: Legacy's more approachable nature. For many, a quick 25-minute session or two over lunch or once a week means a legacy game you'll actually finish.
Built On A Great Foundation
The original Mountain Goats was one of the games that basically launched Allplay—actually, we still went by Boardgametables.com back then. Since, hundreds of thousands of players have enjoyed its approachability and quick fun. It's got great table presence even though it fits in a small box. It’s always been a top seller for us. We’ve thought of many different ways we could expand on it. So many, in fact, that unlocking the changes through a campaign with a story and secrets is the most fun way we could think to release them.

Even though "roll & move" has been left behind in a lot of modern board gaming, it's hard not to reminisce about the classic games many of us were raised on. Add in the mountain tracks, dice mitigation, and special powers? That's a roll & move game we can get behind.
