In recent days, it has become clear that social distancing and other safety precautions need to be increased to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Many of our publishers have already announced cancelations of organized play programs.
In response to the growing concerns about the community spread of this virus, we’ll be making several more changes in the shoppe. The changes below begin today, and will be in place until April 3rd, 2020. That date may be further extended as the situation warrants.
- Our public hours are reduced to 10:00 am – 9:00 pm Monday – Saturday to give us time each night to deep clean the shoppe.
- All in-store scheduled events and game nights have been suspended. This includes all casual and competitive events. We will be offering remote activities, like our Take-and-Paint event, so please stay tuned on FaceBook and Discord for details.
- Our Game Library is closed, and all demonstration games are removed from all tables. Our Game Library will be deep cleaned and sanitized during this hiatus.
- A very limited number of tables will be available for in-store play. We strongly recommend you make a reservation before coming in to play, so we can confirm we have space. Groups will be limited to no more than 6 participants. Reservations will be limited to four hours and staggered to improve social distance. Tables will be sanitized between reservations.
During our public hours, we will provide full in-store retail service as well as free curb side pick up. Our $5.00 delivery service will also be available to anyone wishing to call in an order.
As we know many of you are concerned about our staff, we want to assure you that these changes will not mean any loss in wages for any of our employees. We have several Work-At-Home and in-store projects available to all our team members, and we are committed to making sure they have the hours and wages they need.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
-Dave & Priya
