Earlier this year, we were able to knock down the wall between our suite and the space next door. Since then we've added a few additional tables, and have generally spread out the shoppe to settle in nicely.
As a follow-on to expanding our space, beginning on November 26th, 2018, we'll also be expanding our shoppe's hours. Across the board, we'll be opening earlier, at 10:00 am. This will allow us to better serve our early-rising guests, allow us to offer more hours during school holidays, and give us a bit more flexibility with some of the local community groups that schedule game days with us.
Additionally, we'll be staying open later on Thursdays, to match our Friday and Saturday schedule; we'll be closing at midnight on those three days. This change has been a popular request for a while now, so we're grateful to finally be able to deliver on it.
We will still be closed on Sundays, so our staff can get some rest. That also plays quite nicely with our growing relationship with D4 and RockPunch; they'll be using our space on Sundays as a closed set to stream their D&D Podcast starting in 2019.
Starting November 26th, the new hours will be:
Monday – Wednesday: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 am – midnight

One of our goals behind our schedule is to make sure it's easy to remember, and sustainable. To keep it memorable, we strive to have it explainable in three lines or less. As you can see above, the new hours continue to meet that goal.
In terms of sustainability, for the last several months we've been scheduling staff in the store starting at 9:00 am every weekday. During that time, they've been working on projects, accepting deliveries and, occasionally, opening our doors early when people discover our shoppe before noon. Additionally, we've often scheduled many of our longer Saturday events at 10:00am, to make sure they wrap up at reasonable time.
Now it's time to make it all official, and open up the schedule for everyone to enjoy.
The signs on the doors will be updated “soon.” We're working on finalizing the lettering with our sign company now. Weather permitting, the doors should reflect the new hours by early December.
If you're looking for some morning weekday fun, we've updated our reservation system to allow you to book tables starting at 10:00 am Monday – Saturday. And, of course, you can start booking late night Thursday tables starting today as well.
