International Tabletop Day 2017 is this Saturday (April 29), so it’s time to share some specifics! Some of the times may drift a bit, depending on how busy things get so, if you’re interested in something specific, be sure to arrive early, and please be patient if we’re running a bit late. 🙂
Pokémon Pre-Release
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We’ll be opening at 10 AM on Saturday for our Pokémon players so they can get started on the pre-release of the latest set from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Sun & Moon: Guardians Rising. There's still room, so make sure to reserve your spot via our Eventbrite site!
Adventures of Middle Earth RPG
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Starting at noon, Ron Frazier will be in the house, taking 3- 6 Adventurers through a D&D 5E version of Middle Earth! Ron will have pre-generated characters ready to go, so if you want to explore Tolkien’s world in a whole new way, be sure to grab a seat at the table!
Door Prizes and Raffles
1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
When you arrive, come see us at the register, and we’ll make sure to give you a raffle ticket which enters you into our free raffles. We’ll be giving away several games and other goodies throughout ITTD 2017, starting right around 1pm. The International Tabletop Day micro-games will be part of these raffles, so make sure you get yourself a ticket.
Promo Demo Tables and Play to Win
1:00 PM – 'til we run out of promos
We’ll have Demo Tables for Renegade Game Studios titles “Clank!,” “Lotus,” and “Fuse” where we’ll be showcasing the games, and giving out International Tabletop Day Promos. For Lotus, you can also sign up for a Play-To-Win game – play against three other randomly assigned players and the winner gets to take the game home with them. For FUSE, we’ve got some special dice available as well – grab a team, beat the game, and win some dice. And, finally, we have a limited supply of some special Clank! Promos that will be awarded to folks who are able to escape the dungeon!
Happy Salmon Tournament
1:00 PM – 1:15 PM
If you blink, you might miss it, but we’ll be hosting a Happy Salmon tournament starting right around 1:00 PM. The specifics will depend on how many players we get, but the top winner will take home a copy of Happy Salmon for their very own. *fistbump*
Machi Koro Organized Play Kit
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
At 3:00 PM, we’ll be cracking open the “Millionaires Row” Event Construction Kit for Machi Koro, and hosting a free organized play event. You’ll be able to win oversized Landmark Cards and other cool prizes!
Special Demos from Local Game Designers
2:00 PM & 5:00 PM
At 2:00 PM, we’ll be joined by Dwayne Huges of Downstream Games will be demoing a prototype of his game, Tugawords. Dwayne showed this off to our staff and a few customers a few weeks back and we all loved it!
At 5:00 PM, Familiar Games founder, Joseph Butler will be in the shoppe, demoing his recently funded dice game, Mageling. Mageling reached its Kickstarter Goal in our shoppe, while he was showing the game off to our customers, so we’re really excited to have him back to demo it again!
Both Dwayne and Joseph will also be joining us for our Game Design Workshop at 4:00 PM (see below)
