I stopped by the store today (today is a vacation day from My Real Job) to meet with some flooring folks. We've got a few of them coming through to take measurements for estimates. Flooring is expensive. And it's sooooo monumentally boring. The big debate is whether to go with the smaller company that wants our business because they rarely do such large projects, or the larger company that is less interested, because they do it so often. Hopefully we'll have a decision made well before the concrete is cured, so we can keep moving towards opening day.
But, who cares about flooring when we have walls!
They still have several walls to hang, of course, and they have to tape and finish up the seams, but it's exciting to see things coming together.
